Founded in 1960, the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department proudly serves the residents and visitors of Chester Gap and the surrounding communities throughout Rappahannock, Warren, and Fauquier Counties. For more than six decades, our department has remained committed to protecting lives, property, and the well-being of our community through emergency response, training, public service, and outreach.
As a combination department supported by dedicated volunteers and professional EMS personnel, we stand ready to respond whenever help is needed. Whether responding to fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue incidents, or assisting neighboring agencies through mutual aid, our mission remains the same: providing dependable emergency services to those we serve.
